Owen studied Economics and Human Geography at Queen’s University Belfast, before joining the family business, Keys Finance. Owen developed and launched our Premium Finance and Fee Finance products and as Managing Director is now responsible for developing and implementing the Keys Finance corporate strategy as well as overseeing compliance and risk functions. Outside of work Owen enjoys golfing and playing bass guitar.
Having joined Keys Finance right at our inception in 1991, Barbara has accumulated a vast depth of experience within our business. Barbara has been and continues to be, instrumental in developing our operating and finance systems. Now as Finance Director, Barbara is primarily responsible for all our accounting, financial reporting, and treasury functions. Away from the office, Barbara enjoys running and hill walking.
Craig joined Keys Finance in 2011, having already gained extensive experience in the insurance and specialist finance markets, within both corporate insurers and banking. Since joining us, Craig has successfully brought our finance products into new territories and as Sales Director is responsible for driving our sales growth and revenues. Always on the go, Craig enjoys spending his spare time hiking and playing squash.
Peter has over 30 years of experience working in the banking, residential mortgage and finance sector in the City of London. Having joined Keys in 2018, as head of Fee Finance, Peter’s role is to develop and lead our Fee Finance product with key introducers in this sector. Peter is a season ticket holder at an unfashionable football team and loves his house music.
Gail joined Keys Finance in 2016, with over 20 years’ account executive experience in insurance during which she earned a Cert CII qualification. Moving effortlessly from Insurance to Finance, Gail successfully introduced our Fee Finance Product into the Republic of Ireland. Gail is responsible for developing our finance products in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. Outside of work, Gail enjoys running and travelling.
Jay qualified from Brunel University with a degree in IT & Business. Based in London, Jay joined Keys in 2022, having gained 8 years’ experience in the Insurance Premium Finance market, both in sales and credit control functions. As business development manager, Jay’s role is to expand our broker network in the South-East and Midlands. Away from work Jay is a keen traveller and loves sports, particularly badminton and football.
With a degree in Business Studies from the University of Portsmouth, Adam joined Keys in 2022 having gained experience in marketing as a Partnership Executive and Relationship Manager. Adam’s role within Keys is to plan and co-ordinate our marketing strategies, working closely with trade bodies and networks both within the Accountancy and Insurance sectors. Outside of work, Adam likes keeping active playing squash, tennis and football.
Sharon brings over twenty years of senior management experience within the insurance broking sector, covering client servicing, insurer relations and operations. As Head of Operations, Sharon’s role is to develop and improve efficiencies within the operations function whilst offering support to the sales team and business partners. Outside of work, Sharon’s interests include spending time with family and friends, gym, shopping, and socialising … when she can!
Following a career in academia, culminating in being awarded a PhD from Peterhouse Cambridge, Gemma returned to Northern Ireland and joined Keys Finance in 2019. A natural problem solver, Gemma took to the financial services world seamlessly and now provides our introducers with the highest levels of personal service. Outside of work, multi-talented Gemma, loves nothing more than performing at an improvisational comedy club.
Prior to joining Keys Finance in 2018, Trevor had over 10 years of wide-ranging administration experience within the private sector. Always keen to assist and a dedicated administrator, Trevor is currently responsible for providing on-hand support to business introducers and clients. Trevor recently moved into a new home, is a dog owner and loves to cook.
Janet joined Keys in 2021, having previously gained 23 years banking experience as Branch Supervisor, Lending Official and Compliance Monitor. Janet takes pride in offering outstanding service and since joining Keys, Janet’s role is to manage incoming payments while working with clients and introducers to ensure effective account processing. Away from work Janet loves the occasional rock concert, and spending time with her family and dog.
Regan graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a degree in Media & Communications followed by a Masters from Queen’s University Belfast. A skilled administrator, with over five years’ experience gained in the charity and private sector, Regan joined Keys in 2022 and is responsible for opening new customer accounts, and processing introducer applications. Away from work, Regan enjoys cooking and playing with her cat, Dubh!
New to the financial services world, Ryan joined Keys in 2022. Previously, Ryan gained wide ranging experience in a number of private sector roles, which have given him an excellent foundation for Keys. Ryan is currently responsible for opening new customer accounts, and processing introducer applications. When not working, Ryan enjoys exercising and keeping fit, loves watching football and spending time with his family.
Elaine graduated from the University of Dundee with an LLB Hons, and subsequently completed her LPC, at the college of Law, York. Elaine gained extensive experience in practice and Industry both in London and Northern Ireland. When not being run ragged by her two young children, Elaine enjoys the North Coast beaches and local coffee shops. Elaine also enjoys spending time on the family farm with her border collie Bo
Alan founded Keys Group in 1991, following a pioneering career in Irish Financial Services and retired in 2010. Whilst sadly passing away in 2019, Alan’s enthusiasm for finance, gracious approach with business partners and entrepreneurial spirit remains an enduring legacy that we at Keys will always strive to achieve.
